We get what we desire

By Murli Chari

Many of us are not aware of this beautiful principle of the universe. Most of us struggle, suffer and live a miserable life as that is what we have unintentionally attracted by constantly focusing on that. When we say we do not poverty and we attract poverty. Using positive affirmation gets us what we want. That is the reason we have to make affirmations for what we want and not what we do not want. This principle is beautifully explained by Rhonda Byrne in her magnum opus book The Secret. If we send thoughts of complaints to universe that is what is amplified and given back to us. We have to be careful in what we ask from the universe. James Allen in his beautiful book “As a man thinketh” that we become what we always think. If we are scared that we will be poor we become poor as our subconscious mind delivers what we keep impressing it with. Subconscious mind does not differentiate between fact and fiction. Our mind is a powerful magnet attracting what we want. We should make sure that we remove fear and doubt from our minds while affirming. All sportspersons always resort to self-hypnosis. They make sure that they in their recesses of minds believe that accomplishments are already achieved. If you want great health then start sending healthy thoughts to your subconscious mind. If you want abundance then stuff your minds with thoughts of abundance though you may be poor now. Keep telling yourself that you are wealthy and in some time you will become wealthy. When we psyche ourselves, our minds trigger powerful thoughts to attract the desired results. We would have noticed so many times that our genuine and powerful desires are fulfilled as though by magic. Our mind is a powerful transmitter sending signals to the universe which picks it up and concretizes them. For that to happen we must be fully charged and start having phenomenal faith in the dynamics of the universe. Many times, we are surprised how universe creates situations delivering what we strongly and genuinely desire. It is a

myth that we have to slog, struggle and work hard for what we want. There are many instances when ordinary people have done extraordinary things when they have tremendous faith in themselves and the benevolent universe. Our universe itself is evidence of a cornucopia of miracles. There are myriad examples when we meet someone we were just thinking. Struggle is a myth promoted by the well-meaning near and dear ones, society, friends, governments and teachers. Once we repose faith in the working of the magnanimous universe impervious to rational thinking all our needs will be satisfied by the universe. For the miracles to happen we need an attitude of gratitude and strong faith. For receiving the copious affluence, we need to trust ourselves, principles of nature and the dynamics of nature. Also, we need to slay the demons of fear and doubt from our being. We also need to have utmost humility and immense patience for the universe to deliver what we desire. Our intentions should be pious and not inimical to anybody. We need to be in a flow and accept whatever comes in our way. We need to have reverence for the present moment which is the greatest gift. The current atmosphere of cynicism, parochial thinking and too much of reliance on rational and logical minds are responsible for things going topsy turvy. We need to be irrational, imaginative, maverick and creative to think beyond the box. The thinking that “If wishes were horses beggars would ride” has to be turned on its head and give more credit for miracles of the universe to manifest. Is it not that most of our physiology works on auto mode? We have to consciously indulge in reveries and throw caution to wind for a while and bank on universe to create mirabilia. The excessive reliance only on rational minds puts needless brakes on our enthusiasm and flow. Once we integrate ourselves with the humongous power of the universe we can literally fly like a majestic eagle in the open skies. Let us take hiatus from logical thinking and give miracles a chance to take flight.
